Handbag Picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now on, and if you haven’t already looked, there are some great deals on new designer handbags for fall. We’ve been taking some time to go through the selection and curate our favorite picks. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale officially is open to cardholders on July 28 and lasts until August 8, 2021

Generally the saving are at least 30% off of the retail price. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a great time to treat yourself  to a new handbag, or even buy early for Christmas, because the discount ends on August 7th. Here’s a look at some of our favorites bags from the sale (see collage above left to right) , featuring bags from Tory Burch, Ted Baker London,  kate  spade, Longchamp, Marc Jacobs  & COACH.  Many of the bags I am featuring in this posts are exclusive to Nordstrom, meaning you won’t find them anywhere else.  I’ve also selected many bags under $150.00 and under $200.00, because you know, here at  The Recessionista, we like the best for less.

Longchamp ‘Le Pliage’ Expandable Tote (Nordstrom Exclusive)  Sale: $119.90, After Sale: $195.00

Longchamp tote handbag: This is my favorite handbag for travel due to its super lightweight, water resistance and foldable body. The sale price is approximately $134.00.

The COACH Canteen Leather Crossbody Bag is another favorite on the sale.  The round shape, inspired by vintage hatbox luggage, shoulder strap & top carry handles give this bag a very distinctive luxury look. For the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, the price is approximately  $199.00, after the sale the price will be $350.00.

If you love the style of Tory Burch handbags, there are a number of both totes and small wallet bags on the sale at great prices.   The average markdown on the sale price for the Tory Burch bags is 40% which is a great deal.
