KLJ for QVC Debuts Princess Kate Royal Wedding Earrings

The confetti has hardly settled in London from all the Royal Wedding celebrations and QVC has launched their version of Kate Middleton’s pear shaped drop earrings by KLJ (Kenneth Jay Lane’s low priced QVC line).  The earrings Kate wore were a gift from her parents designed by jeweler Robinson Pelham.  The pear shaped drop earrings had a little diamond acorn dangling in the center.  The acorn is the new Middleton emblem on their coat of arms. The KLJ version even has the acorn inside the pear shaped frame. The KLJ version is costume jewelry of course, not real diamonds.

I have to admit , I was crazy for Kate’s earrings and already bought a similar version, but with real diamonds from Kohl’s. Armed with Kohl’s cash & a stockpile of coupons I purchased the vintage inspired pear shaped diamond earrings by TW (on sale for US $164.00) for about $75.00.  Those coupons really come in handy, even when buying diamonds! 🙂
