Lilly Pulitzer for Target Makeup Bag Giveaway
This cute Lilly Pulitzer for Target make-up bag was on the rack with other generic make-up bags. The price for $24.99.
By now we all know the sad story of the Lilly Pulitzer for Target sell-out. Much of the collection was bought to be resold on eBay for profit by resellers who were allowed to buy unlimited quantities at Target. I know so many of my readers are still upset that they couldn’t get their Lilly Pulitzer after waiting in line at the store or shopping late at night on Target.com. So, I’ve decided to do a little giveaway. I was able to pick-up this colorful makeup bag at Target last week, and I’d like to offer my loyal readers to chance to win it (instead of keeping it for myself.) Please not this giveaway is not sponsored by Target and I paid for the bag myself. Read on to learn how to enter to win this cute bag. It can even be carried as a handbag or a tote!

i was on vacation and unable to get to a target when the collection was released, and i wasn’t able to access the website because it crashed so i ended up with no lilly for target 🙁

I was able to buy some of the home goods online…including the small floral and the even smaller white plates. Really disappointed I couldn’t buy the napkins, they are selling for crazy prices on e-bay!

After having no luck online when it launched, I raced to my local Target a little after 7am. By the time the doors opened at 8am, over 100 people were in line. It became a Hunger Games style running race thru the store. Displays were toppled, elbows thrown, & pieces literally grabbed out of others arms. I got my hands on 1 shift dress (& it was my size!) before there was nothing left. I played the waiting game in the dressing room with abt 50 other women trying to collect ‘cast offs’ with no luck. As I wandered the store, a worker found a beach towel on the ground & asked if I wanted it (yes!). At 8:15am, the Target workers had already taken down the Lilly signs & displays – as if the launch had never happened. I’ve returned to my Target to check for returns & have been told that they’re not sure they’ve even had a single Lilly return. Amazing…

There were only a few items left, and only in larger sizes, so sadly I didn’t get anything.

I am so over the Target launch BS. I went online the same as you and many others to find the website crashed. I refuse to play gladiator in my local Target for any of their items. If I happen to see something on the sale rack, I might pick it up. That’s the way I shop the Target collaborations. I have several items none of them less than 50% off. 🙂

I am about 50 miles away from a Target, and before I could make plans to go to the store, all of the Lilly Pulitzer items were sold out!

Everything was sold on the first day. I went the second day and was able to scoop up a couple of pieces that had just been returned.

I was able to get a few items, but this was not one of them. I have been looking for a bag like this and when I got to the beauty area it was already scooped up 🙁
