Melania Trump in the Roksanda Margot bell-sleeve crepe dress.

Like most of you, I was shocked to hear Melania Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention last night because her speech writer copied so much of Michelle Obama’s speech from the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Check out the video comparison of the two speeches, it’s pretty shocking how close they are.  The only good thing I can say about Melania Trump is that she has excellent fashion taste The one time model choose a white  $2,190 Roksanda Ilincic dress.  The dress was Serbian designer Roksanda’s Margot bell-sleeve crepe dress, which according to the Daily Mail, was purchased at online fashion website Net-a-Porter.

The dress is now sold-out on Net-a-Porter, but still available in black on MatchesFashion.com  I’m a big fan of designer Roksanda Illincic and I’ll tell  you a little secret, sometimes you can find her dress on sale at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack for under $500.00.   The sculptured designed of her dress, and the careful darts and nipping at the waist make them very flattering.  If you love Roksanda, here’s a dresses that are similar to the Margot dress with its distinctive bell sleeves.  Shame her speech write copied parts of Mrs. Obama’s speech, she could’ve owned this moment at the convention in that gorgeous dress!  Wonder if she’ll knock it off for QVC? 🙂
