If you love the little Minions characters from Despicable Me and later the Minions spin-off, you’ll be pleased to learn that they are the inspiration for a new shoe. line launched last week at Fred Segal in West Hollywood.  The Ruthie Davis x Minions Capsule Collection puts a glamorous and playful spin on the Minions with footwear that has the irreverence and cheekiness of the Minions along with glamorous touches like Swarvoski crystals.

Celebrities Charlotte McKinney, Christina Milian, Louise Roe and Allie Teilz were on hand for the launch at Fred Segal. The shoes are exclusively available at Gregory’s Shoes at Fred Segal and at Ruthie Davis online.

The capsule collection features three unique styles including “RDXMIN Pop Star Platform” “RDXMIN Red Carpet Stiletto” and “RDXMIN Sneaker Wedge.”

All three of the designs in the  capsule collection are sleek and modern in feel including design details such as Swarovski Crystals, denim, lucite for heels and leather in matte finishes that mimic the Minion Goggle Straps.  The collection is chic, but not cheap.  Prices ranges from $895 to $1,495.  If you love the Minion’s, follow these shoes to see if they turn up on some of the upcoming Fred Segal sales.
