The top seller from Net-a-Porter’s Black Friday/Cyber Monday fashion sale was SAM EDELMAN Elina suede over-the-knee boots for $175.00

Net-a-Porter is one of the Internet’s top fashion destinations. Some of us love the Net-a-Porter sale dearly, because we wait every year to get 50% and later 70% off the beautiful things from top designers. The sale is so popular, the website has been known to crash and buckle under the strain of fashionistas anxious to get the deals. But here’s some surprising news about this year’s sale. The top selling item from the Net-a-Porter holiday sale (which preceeded Black Friday) was a pair of under $200.00 boots!  Specifically, the coveted item was the SAM EDELMAN Elina suede over-the-knee boots  on sale for $175.00 marked down from $250.00.   The popular boots are nearly sold out in black but are still available in many sizes in a very pretty grey. It’s surprising if you go through the sale how many great picks there are for under $200 and even more for under $300.00. One of my favorites–which I bought –was the ÉTOILE ISABEL MARANT dress I got for $174.00.   I wasn’t the only one shopping this great sale. Black Friday and Cyber Monday marked the highest and second highest sales days on record for YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP respectively, with Black Friday sales soaring 82% compared to 2014.  There are still many great finds on sale, so read on to see some of my other reasonably priced sale picks.

The SAM EDELMAN Elina suede over-the-knee boots are still on sale for $175.00 in grey, and is still available in some sizes in black.

Look for this edgy little black dress from Isabel Marant for $174.00 reduced from $290.00.

Dresses from Michael Kors and Opening Ceremony are some of the sale finds.

There are some great coats from MAJE, DKNY and Madewell for under $400.00.

Well the Sam Edelman boots were the top seller at an affordable price, the most expensive item sold was Kimberly McDonald 18-karat gold, crystal opal and diamond earrings, purchased by a customer in San Francisco for US$27,307. In terms of clothing, the most expensive item sold was a Saint Laurent Asymmetric zebra-print sequined wool mini dress for US$14,943  purchased by a customer in Phoenix (Arizona)

Watch this space readers…in my opinion, it’s almost time for the Net-a-Porter sale prices to be further reduced to 70% off. I’ve already got my wish list made for that one, how about you?  I’m watching a MAJE black lace dress and a ROKSANDA dress.
