Palm Springs Chic for All: Announcing Trina Turk for Banana Republic
Pictured: An advance look at the Trina Turk for Banana Republic collection launching in June. |
Today Banana Republic announced that they are bringing one of my Los Angeles fashion favorites, Trina Turk, to their retail stores on June 7th. Trina Turk for Banana Republic will be a collection of nearly 60-pieces of women’s apparel, accessories, swim and lifestyle items. This is a perfect collection for summer, with Trina’s trademark colorful prints on display to great effect. I usually buy my Trina Turk at Nordstroms Rack, the designer’s outlet store and at the year end Divine Design sale in Los Angeles, so if this collection is as appealing as the pictures, it will be great to be able to buy it for lower prices at Banana Republic. Just don’t’ sign up for a Banana Republic Credit Card when you shop to try to save further (you get a discount at purchase with Banana if you open a charge account). Banana’s credit cards are administered by GE Capital, one of those companies that charges outrageous $25.00 late fees, even if you only have a $1.00 credit balance on the card. So, use a lower interest card without high late charges to shop or your American Express card. Just a tip from your local recessionista.
