Another big week has passed in the world of fashion, with lots of news and announcements that fashionable ladies like us need an update on. Here’s my week in review round-up on all the fashion news that’s fit to print, at least for me!Luxury Shoe Maker/Designer Christian Louboutin is launching a makeup line. Women’s Wear Daily reports that the designer is launching a line of make-up products called, wait for it….Christian Louboutin Beauté.  How could it be anything else?  A make-up or perfume line is a good idea for any designer in this economy as it offers the designer’s name on lower priced products. Sales of Chanel No. 5 saved the House of Chanel many times.

The Rebecca Minkoff’s sample sale in New York City is in full gear until tomorrow, May 13th.  Instagram is full of the finds from the sale. In NYC the sale is on this weekend Sat 10am—8pm, Sun 10am—4pm. 260 Fifth Ave between 28th and 29th Sts.  The sale will come to Los Angeles later this week at Confederacy on Hollywood Boulevard, the sale will open doors Friday, May 18th and will run through Sunday, May 20th.


Two new designer collaborations have been announced this week. Nicole Richie will be bringing a collection to the Macy’s Impulse line and Trina Turk is doing a summer collection for Banana Republic.
