STELLLA!!!!! How do you spell Sale? 60% off at Stella McCartney

So I got all excited today, because Stella McCartney is having a sale.  I love, love her clothes, so I thought this was a good chance to snap up some treasures.  Wrong.  I did better shopping Stella at the Harvey Nichols London sale two years ago.  Above is my object of desire, the stripped hibicus tee, retail price $475.00, now marked down to $199.00.  Although the shirt has great styling, I just can’t bring myself to spend that much.  Especially, when there is a doppleganger over at Kohl’s.  Although the Lauren Conrad collection can’t hold  a candle to the designs of Ms. McCartney, her striped tee with flower overlay is only $19.99.

Maybe the Blogger over at Goop went for the $199.00 version, (may have even received if for free)  but to me that’s Chanel money.  In the words of Stanley Kowalski, “Stelll—a–ah..” your sale is enough to me cry like a wounded animal.  I mean have have mercy, even the cool Meat Free Monday tee with the Linda McCartney print is over $200.00.  Hundreds for  Coco style,  not for T-shirts! Of course, I will be setting up an eBay alert for the Stella Tee, and if I find it at the right price, I just might indulge.

PS–Anybody ever seen any FTC disclosure type language over at Goop from the Blogger? Anything about getting samples? Just say’in.
