Small Business Saturday is coming Nov. 30, 2013

If you want to avoid the madness at the malls on Black Friday and now, even Thanksgiving Day itself, then you might want to choose to shop in your neighborhood this Saturday, Nov. 30th.   This is a great way to support local merchants and small business owners struggling in this recession.   And, if you shop small, you can still save with your American Express card.  Simply register your eligible American Express Card before Small Business Saturday and get a $10 statement credit when you make a purchase of  $10 or more at a qualifying small business location on Nov 30. Registration is limited, so see the Offer Terms for full details.  Many consignment stores offer great deals on holiday gifts and fashions in the holiday season and qualify for the American Express Small Business Discount.  Two stores we love and recommend are Sequels Boutique in Beverly Hills, CA and Adore Boutique in Cary & Raleigh North Carolina.  If you’re wondering where to shop small businesses in your area you can search Foursquare with hashtag #ShopSmall to find small businesses to support in your area or search on the ShopSmall.com website.
