The many sides of pursecase, the fashionable way to carry your iPhone.

Two smart Los Angeles fashionistas have come up with a way to carry your iPhone 4/4S or 5 in a fashionable way.  It’s called pursecase.  This little plastic carry case looks like a designer handbag.  This ingenius little carry case offers protection for your precious phone, a handy way to carry credit cards via a built in pocket plus a handle to carry the phone of your wrist or in your hand. I’ve been a pursecase early adopter for the past few months.  I have received so many compliments that I have gotten while carrying this adorable iPhone5 case. So many people have asked me where I got it and how to buy one.  So here’s the 411 on pursecase and how you can get one.

pursecase is the brainchild of two busy LA Public Relations mavens, Jenn Deese and Kelley Coughlan.  Kelley & Jenn rely on their phones to pitch stories, stay in touch with clients and monitor media coverage.  That’s why they came up with the idea to combine fashion and utility into an iPhone case shaped like a designer purse.  It’s a brilliant idea, but to implement it and bring pursecase to market, they need funding.   That’s why they are working to raise funding via Kickstarter.

The idea is to produce an array of pursecases for sale in of teal, pink, black, white, and purple colors for either iPhone 4/4S or iPhone 5. If enough money is raised, the pursecase team will be unveiling designs for the Samsung Galaxy and other smartphone models as well.

The pursecase Kickstarter campaign to raise funding will run through March 29th at 8 p.m. EST. pursecase will be available for $28 to the first 250 backers and then $35 for the duration of the campaign (retail price after Kickstarter will be $38).  For men who contribute,  there are a variety of other options to reward their contribution.

Personally, I really hope the funding is raised, because I love my pursecase.  I rely on my phone from New York Fashion Week, to London Fashion Week, to  just running around Los Angeles.   This is a brilliant idea and I hope fashionistas everywhere will help turn the vision into reality!   There are so many items on the market that are not consumer driven, the pursecase Kickstarter campaign gives us all a voice in the type of iPhone case we want, and need.
