Lulu Guinness, is doing a second collab with Uniqlo via Glam

Put on your pearls girls! Whimsical British designer Lulu Guinness is  back at low priced retailer Uniqlo with a second collaboration.  Her first collection was adorable and I bought several of the shirts on eBay because Uniqlo didn’t yet have US online ordering. Although Uniqlo has ecommerce enabled on their website for US, the shirts are displayed on the Uniqlo UK site.  As might be expected when it comes to Lulu Guinness, the shirts are selling quickly.   If you’re looking for the Lulu shirts to ship to the US, look for them on eBay.  Their are two types of Tees in this cheap & cheerful collection: wide neck rolled up short sleeve tees and sleeveless tops with Peter Pan collars. The shirts are all priced at $19.95.  But Lulu Guinness isn’t the only designer on the Uniqlo racks.  The brand is really stepping up their summer 2013 designer collaborations.

Karen Walker for Uniqlo Girls Dresses

But Uniqlo isn’t stopping with Lulu Guinness.   They have also released a collaboration with Karen Walker for women & girls consisting of colorful print dresses and tops.   The girls clothing items are priced from $14.90 and the women’s tops are reduced from $19.90 to $12.90.  How does Uniqlo make these so cheaply?   It does make me wonder.

 Leur Legette

Two Leur Legette dresses from Uniqlo Designer Invitation Projection

The other thing worth checking out at Uniqlo right now is their designer invitation collaboration project.   There are some really beautiful pieces in here from SUNO (more charming prints), french designer Leur Logette, Plumpynuts, Double Standard Clothing, Ilian Loeb and  MUG.  The SUNO dresses and elegant Leur Logete pieces are perfect for summer. I ordered the Leur Logette Maxi Dress for  $39.99 to wear to some summer parties.  I’ll let you know what kind of quality it is when I receive it.
