Tailored separates  for work or play will be part of the Carine Roitfeld Spring /Summer 2016 Collection at UNIQLO.

Paris Vogue Editor  Carine Roitfeld is about to return to Uniqlo with a 94 piece fashion collection for Spring/Summer 2016.    Last season’s collection sold briskly, with many of the coats and jackets selling out on day one of the  Uniqlo x Carine Roitfeld launch.  Our spies tell us the Uniqlo x Carine Roitfeld collection will be live on Uniqlo’s website on Feb. 10 at 9 pm EST/6 pm PST and in select stores on February 11th. As with the previous collection, we expect the fit to be smaller than standard US sizes and sized like European apparel, so if you order online you may want to size up or order 2 sizes and then return the one that doesn’t fit.  Here’s a look at what’s on our shopping list from Carine Roitfeld Spring 2016 at Uniqlo.

Carine Silk Camisole Dress in Black

Carine Silk Camisole Dress in Black for $79.90.

ruffled skirts

The ruffled skirts in the collection are cute and flirty for Spring

Carin roth textured jacket

The long jacquard textured blazer is classic and designed to minimize the hips.

Although I like the sleek lines of this collection, I’m surprised by the lack of color for spring. It’s all muted colors that are more typical of winter collections: black, grey, olive, camouflage.

The collection’s slim cut won’t be for everyone (the skirts only go up to size 8), it’s probably a reason why some of the last collection ended up on sale at Uniqlo and went through multiple reductions, in fact a Carine Roitfeld Mohair Sweater is still on clearance for $ 9.90 from last season.
