US Tax Day Deals and Steals on Fashion and Dining

Well, the dreaded day has almost arrived. I refer of course to April 15th, the day US Taxes are due. For all intents and purposes, the above graphic could be my return. My house is an absolute wreck of clutter and mayhem. Team Recessionista (me, myself and I) were up late last night struggling to complete the dreaded returns. The only nice news I can report about this day is that some retailers and businesses are offering discounts and deals to help consumers today. Here’s is a little selection on things I have found that make be of use to my dear readers.

Restaurant Tax day deals to relieve the pain!
If you’re looking for a little comfort food today, US chains PF Chang and McCormick + Schmick’s are offering their guests a 15% off discount in honor of tax day. Both restaurants are conveniently located near me, so I may be popping in.

Other reports of specials are listed below. Be sure and call the restaurant before you head out to make sure the location near you has the advertised special 🙂

  • Select Whole Foods stores are making April 15 a tax-free shopping day. So far stores in AL, GA, NC, SC, TN are participating. To find out if your Whole Foods is participating, go to WholeFoods.com find your local store then give them a ring to see if they are participating.
