Wu Watch: Some items are on Target.com for Jason Wu

By  |

Here at The Recessionista, we literally live in the pursuit of finding fashion for less.  So, let’s just say, I am on “Wu Watch”, the elusive art of placing an order for the Jason Wu Target collection on Target.com.  A few items are now online, see the screen shot above.  When you see the image of the collection on the women’s pages on Target.com or the Jason Wu preview page, hit the red plus symbol or white plus symbol in the circle to try to order. The adorable cat tote and scarf can be found for order on the accessories page.  Click the plus symbols to order.

I was able to get the sleeveless floral top for $29.99, although the site did hiccup during the order process. Although, I was not able to create a Target account (even though the site encouraged me to do so.)  I tried to order the cat tote, but the item quickly disappeared from my cart after I saved it there as did one of the dresses. Now it seems to be back online, but the cat scarf is not.

I’m posting this for my loyal readers who are jonesing to get some designer fashion for less. Everyone wants the fairy tale of affordable, quality fashion.  I don’t know a thing about the quality here, but I’d rather see you buy it and return it than get ripped off on eBay.  Go ye forth to Target.com and get your Jason Wu before the eBayers get it and inflate the prices.  Good luck and let me know how you do!
