CFDA & Fabletics Launch Global Campaign For Fashion Targets Breast Cancer
Actress & Fabletics Co-Founder Kate Hudson made a special appearance this week at Los Angeles’ Del Amo mall to promote a Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC) branded capsule collection of workout gear available during Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. Ms. Hudson appeared at the new Fabletics store at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, California. The actress wore a fashionable Fedora hat to camouflage the fact that she recently shaved her head for an acting role. Without her long blond locks, Ms. Hudson was not immediately recognizable.
The Fabletics and Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) collection includes three two-piece outfits designed in signature FTBC colors: a sports bra and high-waisted legging, a sports bra and capri, and a tank with a legging. Twenty percent of net proceeds of all sales will be donated to the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC) initiative. The collection will be available online at the Fabletics website and at their 22 Fabletics stores.
I have never tried the Fabletics apparel, but some of my readers have and they like the comfortable fit. My only concern about Fabletics and their parent company TechStyle, (formerly JustFab) is their subscription based pricing model. If you buy on the Fabletics website, watch your charge card fees, and check the information on the website , to see if you are just buying the offered apparel or a VIP membership with monthly fees ($49.95.)
