Don’t miss these Black Friday Cyber Monday Beauty Deals for 2017

Darlings, we can’t believe it, but the holiday shopping season is here!  Black Friday is Nov. 24, 2017 followed by the online shopping festival of Cyber Monday on Nov. 27 , 2017.   As is our habit here at The Recessionista, our entire team is busily compiling our list of bargains that we like and making our recommendations.  Our shopping philosophy is simple, we want the best for less with an emphasis on fashion and beauty bargains. You won’t see our staff over at the big box store at 4 am or some other ridiculous hour fighting over a big screen TV.  We have our standards!  This post is all about some of the beauty deals turning up on our radar.  Long time readers know, we will continue to update this list through Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so bookmark this post and check back often.

According to Accenture research, more holiday shopping will occur online this year than in stores.   Most shoppers prefer to shop from the comfort of their own homes using their computer or mobile device.   That means you may have to be more competitive that ever to get the online deals, because more people maybe pointing and clicking.

These beauty deals are products we have actually tried and think provide good value for consumers.  Here’s what’s on our list so far.

Arcona’s basic five skincare products.

Arcona:  I’m a longtime fan of this Los Angeles based organic skincare line sold at Nordstrom.  If you are looking for great organic skincare, shop this brand on November 24 and 25. Our spies tell us Arcona will be offering 30% off all eligible product purchases of $200 or more.  Some of our favorites include the Raspberry Clarifying Pads, the Cranberry Gommage Exfoliator and the Dry Ice Moisturizer.

Beachwaver Co.:  We love this uniquely designed curling iron and had the pleasure of meeting the inventor and hair stylist extraordinaire Sarah Potempa.  Take $20 off  Beachwaver products for Cyber Monday, starting on November 27.

Limited Edition Pro-Collagen Marine Cream Supersize Celebrating 25 years of the Pink Ribbon by supporting Breast Cancer Care

Elemis.com  will offer a “buy one get one half price” deal on all their full-size skincare from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. Look for discounts on the brand’s Pro-Collagen Marine Oil and Marine Cream when you buy in more than one.  I’ll be shopping my personal favorite for gift giving, the Lavender Cleansing Balm & the Pro Collagen Cleansing Cream–the smell alone is reason to buy these products!

The HiMirror Analyzes your skin based on your reflection in the mirror.

HiMirror:  If you love technology, or know a beauty lover who does, you’ll want to check out this deal. Read our review of HiMirror before you shop.  For Black Friday, the mirror will be discounted on HiMirror.com and Amazon.com. The “”smart mirror” that analyzes your skin based on facial recognition  will be priced at $139 for Black Friday, reduced from $199. The HiMirror Plus will be $239, reduced from $269.

Skincare and Sunscreen Products for La Roche Posay.

La Roche-Posay: The French skincare brand with award winning sunscreen will  be taking 30% off all prices for Black Friday. From November 25 to December 1, the brand is offering 30% off all orders, and including four deluxe samples with orders of $75 or more. On Cyber Monday only, get the four samples and a makeup bag with orders of $75 and over.

L’Occitane’s beautiful advent calendar is one of our favorites gifts

L’Occitane:  This French brand is the go to for beautiful pampering hand creams. The deals start before Black Friday on November 22 ad are on until November 26.  Here’s the deal: with any purchase of $85 or more, you’ll receive a gift set filled with seven of the brand’s best-selling hand creams. The hand cream set is available in a custom box designed by illustrator Kanako Kuno in-stores and online. Any purchase of $165 or more, and customers will receive the hand cream gift set, plus a curated holiday gift set filled with the brand’s must-have skin care, body and bath products. On Cyber Monday, L’Occitane is offering 20% off items online only, running through November 29.  If you like the tradition of the Advent Calendar, they offer a beautiful calendar.

Sephora hasn’t officially announced their beauty deals, but we’re checking this  Cyber Monday web page on their site regularly for beauty bargains.

Target beauty products

Target:  We hear that all beauty gift sets at Target will be buy one, get another one for 50% off.  Get your nice list ready.  That includes the e.l.f. 7-piece Holiday Brush Collection and the Soap and Glory Total Gloss Gift Set, plus tons of other Target beauty products like Pixi,  Physicians Formula and others.  Look for Korean Beauty products at Target too, that has been a great new addition.
