Shop for a Cause: Tadashi Shoji Rose Cosmetics Bag Supports Cancer Research
One of our favorite designers, Tadashi Shoji, has announced the launch of a a gorgeous rose-floral cosmetics bag that will support cancer research. This bag will go on sale for World Cancer Day on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018 at Tadashi Shoji boutiques and at TadashiShoji.com. Supporting a cure for all types of cancer is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. In the last year, a close member of my family has been stricken with cancer and has endured surgery and intense chemotherapy. Cancer is a brutal disease and sadly, the current treatments of chemotherapy and radiation are beyond difficult to endure. If you’re reading this, and you haven’t been tested for colon cancer, breast cancer, or other forms of cancer, please take preventative steps and get tested. The goal of World Cancer Day is to remind all of us that all us have the power to reduce the impact of cancer through healthy lifestyle, exercise, diet and regular testing.
The cosmetics bag print is inspired by the Tadashi Shoji FW17 runway collection and its purple and black color palette pays tribute to World Cancer Day’s universal colors. The bag comes with a Eau de Rose rollerball of Tadashi Shoji’s perfume. If you buy this bag, you’ll be shopping for a good cause. Twenty percent of proceeds from this limited-edition floral print cosmetics bag will benefit this worthy cause and help to fund Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation’s cancer research. The bag is affordably priced at $45.00 and is perfect for the traveler as a way to pack their beauty supplies. Look for the bag to go sale Feb. 4th, just a few days before Tadashi Shoji’s New York Fashion Week show on Feb. 8th. I will be packing up to go to New York to see the show with my Tadashi Shoji cosmetics bag.
