Topshop Introduces Jeans in Half-Sizes to Suit All Body Types

Topshop has made fashion news by introducing jeans that come in half-sizes.  I could be wrong, but I think half-size clothes for plus sizes were once sold, but never half-size clothing of any type for regular sizes.

If you check the Topshop website, you’ll see the fast fashion retailer is selling jeans with 25’in, 27’in, 29’in and 31’in waists. Jean sizing is always tricky, as most women need more room in the hips than the waist and sometimes jeans don’t accommodate those curves.  By offering half-sizes Topshop aims to give customers more options for better fitting jeans, especially if you are someone who falls between sizes.

The  new half-sizes are part of Topshop’s recently launched advertising campaign to promote the variety of jeans the brand offers.   The half-sized jeans are available in Topshop’s classic Joni, Jamie, Mom, Crop and Straight styles.   According to Topshop, ” We take denim seriously at Topshop so we want to make sure we’ve got all your jeans bases covered, from a comprehensive range of styles to how they fit and how you should wear them.”

Look for the half-sized jeans at Nordstrom and Topshop  with prices starting at $65.00 US.

Topshop offers shoppers more options with jeans in half-sizes.

Even with this new sizing, Topshop denim is known to run small, so be sure to try them on if you can, or if you order online, you may wish to order a variety of sizes and return the ones that don’t work.
