In a style coup d’état the divine Mrs. O met Mrs. S (Carla Bruni-Sarkozy) today in Paris. When the world’s leading Recessionista ambassador meets the leading Fashionista ambassador, I get chills. There has been a fashion détente. Both were wearing bows and standing at attention before the leaders of the free world. It just shows, whether it’s J. Crew or Christian Dior, fashion is the universal language!!! They both look fantastic, either in couture or off the rack.
