So here’s a little budget fashion scoop: one of my favorite reads, The Cut has run an expose of the Missoni for Target line courtesy of some intrepid Paparazzi who went hiding and got the scoop via the above picture.  According to the article from The Cut  “Margherita Missoni, who will star in the campaign for the line, was photographed on the set of the Missoni for Target ad shoot. And there she is, wearing her affordable dress with her affordable headband carrying her affordable suitcase and affordable duffel.”  Pretty funny that the Paparazzi got the scoop–it wasn’t the bloggers leaking the news!  The bloggers were probably sworn to secrecy via an NDA (non-disclosure agreement.)

So the secret is out dear readers! What do you think? Are you lusting for Target by Missoni? Meantime poor Calypso St. Barth doesn’t seem to be moving off the Target racks.  I keep waiting for it to hit the clearance racks.  I’m wondering if consumers are getting a bit tired of the alleged budget lines with over the $50.00 US price tags. 🙂
