Sale Alert: Splendid x Margherita Missoni

Who doesn’t love a little Missoni? Remember when Target did a collaboration with Missoni and their website crashed in minutes, while stores experienced stampedes of shoppers.  The excitement is still there.   Fashion lovers still crave Missoni which is why Splendid has done two collaborations with Margherita Missoni. The second Splendid x Margherita Missoni was released in time for  holiday shopping in late 2018.   Although the collection was expected to sell-out, there’s still quite a bit left on the Splendid website and what’s left is stock in now on sale for 50% off.  Even the velour color-blocked dress, which  Margherita Missoni predicted would sell out because “it’s effortless but quite striking” is still available in all sizes.

My personal favorite from the collection is the Splendid x Margherita Dolce Vita Turtleneck with it’s distinctive contrast ruffle detail along the neckline and hem.

The wristbands also have a ruffle effect with playful stripes that are reminiscent of Missoni’s RTW styles.  The turtleneck was originally priced at $98.00 US, but is now on sale for $48.00 during the flash sale.
