Elton John is working on a musical of “The Devil Wears Prada”

The BBC reports that Elton John is writing a movie based on the story of fashion’s most ruthless magazine editor aka “The Devil Wears Prada.”

“I’m a huge fan of both the book and the feature film, and a huge aficionado of the fashion world,” said Elton John. “I can’t wait to sink my musical teeth into this hunk of popular culture.”

We’re hoping Elton John writes a song entitled “That’s All ” for the upcoming The Devil Wears Prada Musical.

How fun  would a musical version of this book and movie be? It could run for years in New York on Broadway. Can’t  you just hear Meryl Streep or Glenn Close singing “That’s All”  as Miranda Priestly (the rumored doppelganger Vogue editor of Anna Wintour.)
