One of my favorite skincare brands, Kerstin Florian skincare will celebrate annual Global Wellness Day on June 11, 2016 by partnering with Montage Laguna Beach. A special program for the day, including Yoga and beauty treatment, will be dedicated to Charlene Florian. First celebrated in 2012, Global Wellness Day was established in Turkey as the first “official” international day dedicated to living well. Now a globally accepted movement celebrated in 73 Countries, Global Wellness Day, celebrated the 2nd Saturday in June, will be celebrated on June 11, 2016.
With its slogan “One day can change your whole life,” the global community has mobilized to share the ideas of living well and how to enjoy a revitalized, healthy body, a clear mind and a more peaceful heart and spirit on Global Wellness Day.
The creators behind the Kristin Florian products: Kerstin and Charlene Florian
Created by Belgin Aksoy in Turkey, the purpose was to raise awareness and knowledge, through a dedicated day, about what can be done to increase motivation and activate people towards living a healthier better life. Charlene Florian, Chief Creative Officer of Kerstin Florian, who recently passed away, was one of the early Global Wellness Day supporters and participant as a speaker at GWD in Turkey 2013. Charlene lived her life as a conduit to providing wellness education leaving an indelible footprint on the industry and giving her support through her brand, spa partners and through her speaking engagements on health and longevity trends.
Global Wellness Day in Laguna Beach at the Montage Hotel started out with indoor yoga dedicated to Charlene Florian.
