New Year’s Sales Round-up for Men & Women!

For those of us who still have Christmas money to spend, or who have returned presents they received that they did not really want, there are a few note worthy New Year’s sales to let you know about. Although many of us are already on our New Year’s budgets, the prices offered by these retailers will hopefully not break your budget resolve. That’s why I am passing them along. Some of these are marked down 70 to 80%, so they might be worth a look. Here’s the pick list:

For Men Shopping Recessionista: The Gilt Groupe has two fantastic sales going on today. First up, one of my favorites the fabulous Baker Boy: Ted Baker. For the Ladies Shopping Recessionista we have a couple of items worthy of note.

If you’re loving the Thakoon collection at Target right now, you might want to check out the sale of his high-end collection on The Gilt Groupe. The prices are not as good as Target, but they are deeply discounted.

Shopping club Ideeli is having a sale on Emanuel Ungaro clothing and accessories. Warning, the stuff is still pricey, but you are now looking at paying 100s instead of 1,000s for one of his exquisite pieces.

The selection will vary by store, but the prices will be deeply discounted. Regularly these designer shoes would be selling between $120 and $1600, but at Loehmann’s they are 79.99 to 249.99. Savings will be up to 80% off department store prices,The collection hit the Chelsea and Upper West Side Manhattan stores already. The Beverly Hills and San Francisco Loehmann’s locations will also be showing this designer shoe event this week.

Kohl’s is kicking off a January secret sale with savings throughout the store. Click here to visit their website to check it out.
