Oscar Jewelry & Accessory Looks on the Cheap but still Chic

A look at costume jewelry & accessories close to Penelope Cruz’s red carpet look.

We’re still lusting over the fashions and jewelry we saw on the red carpet at the 2014 Oscars.  Most of us can’t borrow diamonds from Chopard, Fred Leighton, Tiffany’s or Van Cleff & Arpels for a special event.  But with a little digging, you can find similar styles at discounters.  Since Sunday , The Recessionista has been studying the Oscar looks.  We loved Penelope Cruz’s pink Giambattista Valli  gown paired with diamonds.  Here’s our look at affordable options from the  Oscars 2014 red carpet.
