Target Holiday Decorations

A few weeks ago Target put on a holiday party in New York to show off  gift ideas for Christmas.  We sent our New York correspondent , Lorna Solano of The Fabulous Report,  over to give use the run down.  Here’s what Target showed off from there “my kind of holiday’campaign. Target showed off Christmas trees, ornaments, Christmas cards and home decor.  Their shopping expert also showed off various  holiday gifts ideas. Here’s the rundown on some of the affordable items available at Target this season.

Archer farms

Archer Farms nuts, candies and dried fruit from Target make great holiday party nibbles.

For holiday wear  Target some good looking clothing from women (Mossimo), men and kids (Oskosh and Cherokee brands.  For women, check out the Mossimo collection of data night tops, featuring a black sequin top for $22.99. On point with current trends,  Mossimo has a good looking maxi sweater dress and a black lace print dress for under $30.00.  There are even a few Phillip Lim sparking holiday dresses on the clearance racks for $50.00 to $15.00.

For men, there are separates for parties, many now on sale and 50% off savings on men’s outerwear.

At the party, Target offered everything from quick tips for entertaining (set-out bowls of candy,  host a dessert and champagne party) to stocking stuffers like PIXI Cosmetics or Sonia Kushuk bath products.  Keeping candies, nuts and dried fruit out at a holiday party from Archie Farms is a great way to affordably entertain.

Many of Target’s holiday gifts can be found grouped together in their new Awesome Shop.  There are some great fashion items and jewelry there, with most items reasonably priced, although there are a few exceptions, so check things carefully there.
