Worth a Look: Nordstrom Classiques Entier Line
Recently I made a wonderful style discovery: Nordstrom’s own clothing line, Classiques Entier. I really can’t say enough good things about this line. It reminds me of higher-priced designs from European designers like Roland Mouret. Many of the dresses are similar to a Roland Mouret dresses. The styles in the line are elegant and chic, without the “haute” price. I wanted some easy pieces for travel, and bought some of the Classiques Entier Rouched Jersey tops. They traveled like a dream, requiring no pressing or steaming when I unpacked. Best of all, they were comfortable to wear all day long, from the office to dinner out.
This week, some of the collection is on sale at Nordstrom and it’s well worth a look. The line features amazingly comfortable ponte-knit dresses in gorgeous colors.

CLASSIQUES ENTIER dresses now on sale at Nordstrom
The collection features great work dresses, jackets and pants. Look for Classiques Entier on sale at the Nordstroms Anniversary Sale.
Bottom line, if you’re looking for a great combination of quality, customer service and the right price, check out the Classiques Entier line. My local Nordstrom’s sales associate reminded me that during the Anniversary Sale (or other special events) you can enjoy triple Nordstrom’s rewards when you use your Nordstrom’s charge card to purchase. I love the rewards, because they add up just like Frequent Flyer points on your account, and when you reach certain point milestones you can get free stuff. The Recessionista loves the free!

I agree; this is a great line that's been around at Nordstrom's for several years. I have a few Classiques Entier pieces and am happy to report that they seem well made and stand up season after season.

Love the Classiques line!
I'm not sure about other regions (I'm from Nordstrom headquarters land in Seattle), but Nordstrom Rack often carries a lot of Classiques pieces at even more affordable prices.
The downsides of the Rack is that sizing options may vary, the best deals may be from previous seasons, and some Rack stores do not have the best organization (it's definitely not the piano-playing Nordy's atmosphere).
That said, I once bought a Sabrina-style Classiques LBD at Nordstrom Rack for $19.97 and wore it everywhere. Many of the clothes are well tailored and come in good range of sizes. And I could be wrong, but I think some Nordstrom card perks also extend to the Rack…
Happy shopping!

Thanks for pointing out this line. I have two questions though: 1) is it available only online or in shops as well? 2) if you buy it online, can you return in the shop?
