Target’s Noria Morales debuts an Altazzura for Target Maxi Dress at the CFDA awards via her Instagram account.

Since it was announced that Joseph Altazzura will be the next designer for Target, fashionistas have been waiting to learn more.  Well, Target’s Noria Morales gave the world a look at one of the dresses by posting a picture of her in the forthcoming maxi dress from the collection on her Instagram account.   “It’s #altuzarrafortarget maxi dress with orchid print and requisite slit. Man I love this dress,” said Target executive Noria Morales on her Instagram account from the CFDA awards this week.  The dress really IS gorgeous looking, and I love that Target allowed one of their employees, and not a professional model, to show it off. Our sources tell us the dress with retail for $90.00 US when it goes on sale at Target.

In a recent interview with Style.com, the designer spilled a few more clues about his Target collection, emphasizing that it will be very different from his luxury line. The Target collection ir rumored to include tailored peplum jackets, pencil skirts, and trenchcoats. “I didn’t want to assume that because we were doing a collection with Target that it suddenly had to be a much less interesting product. The collection has to stand on its own, and it is details, volume, and tailoring that make a piece feel rich and special, ” said Mr. Altazzura.

Joseph Altuzarra for Altuzarra won the Womenswear Designer of the Year honors at the recent CFDA awards.  I can’t wait to get this Maxi dress at Target, if it looks as good on the racks as it does on Ms. Morales.
