Celebrities selling fashion is a formula that works. That’s why the beautiful Beyoncé  is the model for HM’s new summer swimsuit line and accessories. Check out this preview video to see pictures of the line. The film is H&M’s new TV commercial for their products and was shot in the beautiful surroundings of Bahamas . The commercial  features Beyoncé’s new song “Standing On The Sun”.

What do you think of Beyoncé’s performance? Will you be buying this? Some people will buy just because Beyoncé is selling this and they are fans.  The video features swimwear and beachwear pieces as well as a tie-dye bikini from this summer’s H&M for Water collection.  Although celebrity sells, charity should also help this collection along. 25% of sales from the H&M for Water collection will be donated to H&M for WaterAid. Since 2002, H&M’s initiative with WaterAid has raised £2,650,000.

“I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements – fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial,” says Beyoncé.

Bottom line, this video is great hype but swimwear is cheap to manufacture, let’s see how the quality for price is when it hits the sales racks at H&M in May.
