I had to do some shopping this weekend, so I stopped by Kohl’s to see what was new for Spring. Kohl’s has become almost like a boutique shopping experience with fashion brands like Vera Wang, Derek Lam and Rock n’ Republic in the house. They’ve come a long way, and overall for the price, the quality is impressive.   The Simply Vera line by Vera Wang is full of great looking handbags and floral dresses.   The Spring line is full of color and great prints.   From the Derek Lam line, the maxi-dresses are nicely tailored and fully lined.  I was surprised by how good looking and comfortable the Lam striped drop waist dress and strip top both were.  The Rock n’ Republic line offers great jeans and I even found a blue tie-dye maxi dress with a crochet -knit back and surplus wrap bust.  If you’re looking for trends, Prom dresses and even stuff to entertain and home, Kohl’s has got it.   Read on to learn more and enter a special giveaway to go shopping.

My Fashion Picks from Kohl’s

Some  of the items that I found on my shopping tour at Kohl’s were a pleasant surprise.  The Lauren Conrad (LC)  line is full of fun & flirty styles that are perfect for juniors and young girls.  I got my niece the green dress floral dress with ruffled skirt pictured above.  If you love green, which is the Pantone color for 2013, then have a look at all the LC spring/summer dresses.  The collection is full of green lace and green chiffon dresses.  If you’re looking for Prom, have a look at the Hailey Logan and Vera dresses and even the ELLE collection which has some great cocktail dresses.  Most Spring/Summer fashion trends you see in magazines can be found in the Kohl’s Elle collection for reasonable prices.  If you’re looking for a striking dress for a special occasion, check out the Simply Vera solid pieced dress.  This dress, with its elegant chiffon trim and pintucks looks like it walked right off the runway, except it’s priced at a mere $23.00 not $230.00.   If you’re ready to freshen up your wardrobe , or do a little Mother’s Day shopping, then it is definitely worth having a look around Kohl’s.
