J Crew offers Liberty of London floral dresses for Spring

By  |

As part of their party dress collection for Spring,  J Crew is offering two dresses with with Liberty of London prints.  Liberty of London, the British print house founded in 1875 has always offered beautiful, and uniquely English prints.  Updated collections of Liberty of London fashions have been sell outs at Topshop and Target. The dresses range from size 00 to women’s size 16 US.  The prices are under $200.00 for these dresses.

The berry multi print dress features a unique print motif created for the brand over 80 years ago. I bought a blouse in this print 15 years ago in England at the Liberty of London store, and I still wear it.  It’s a classic.

The second dress in the collection is in Liberty’s June Meadow print.  This motif in was inspired by the 17-acre Abby Gardens on England’s Tresco Island—and all of the daises, buttercups and anemones that grow there.  Liberty of London fans are sure to love these comfortable easy dresses for Spring/ Summer.

J Crew has had Liberty of London since 2008 and it makes my heart happy to see they are still together. The last few years not as many prints as others (most were rash guards and swimsuits). But the Liberty prints I have gone the distance. I loved the Target collaboration but I rely on J Crew to have one good Liberty print to update my Liberty “collection.” It lets me embrace my “inner English” without the grey days and pots of tea. Glad your shirt is going strong. I hope you found something to love. I pulled the trigger on the Lady jacket with the Liberty trim.
