Maison Martin Margiela for H&M Returns on the Rack

I stopped into my local H&M last night to do a return, and surprise, surprise, I saw Maison Martin Margiela for H&M returns. Not only returns, but returns on sale. I asked the H&M clerk about it and she said that the collection is now on sale. I liked this collection (see my review) when it launched back in November, and I think the quality for price is definitely there.  However, this collection may have been a bit to avant garde for the US mass market.  The deconstructed style and oversized cut may not work well for everyone.

Right now, there are 1,538 Maison Martin Margiela for H&M items selling on eBay.  Most items have no bids on them.  I don’t see the pieces selling like hotcakes on eBay, so I expect that H&M will see more returns before the Dec. 14th return for store refund cut off date. If you liked this collection and missed it before Thanksgiving, take another look for it at your local H&M store.  You just might be able to score a deal!  The red dress makes a fantastic holiday party dress.
