Victoria Beckham to Design a New Capsule Collection for Mango

By  |

Designer and celebrity Victoria Beckham is slated to design a new fashion collection for popular retailer Mango that will go on sale April 23, 2024.   According to a press release from Mango, “Victoria Beckham x Mango has been designed by Victoria Beckham and reflects the essence of the designer’s eponymous label, considered the perfect blend of classic British luxury with a subtle contemporary twist, as well as the shared values of both fashion brands, such as quality and femininity.”

Ms. Beckham’s previous budget fashion collaboration with Target was a sellout, but I hope that her collection for Mango is a bit more sophisticated and replicates some of her brands classic like the fitted  dress with the double-ended exposed metal zips at the back that is a popular staple in her ready-to-wear collection.  The VB fitted dresses are similar to designer Roland Mouret’s fitted dresses and have a similar luxury price point.

It is hoped that Mango’s collaboration with Victoria Beckham will bring new shoppers into Mango stores in April.  I’ll be interested to see what the Victoria Beckham for Mango collaboration looks like, won’t you?  I hope that the Mango capsule collection includes a version of the vintage inspired gathered v-neck midi dress from the designer’s current collection
