In a fashion world where models don’t show expression on the runway, and sometimes white and black are the only colors, a Desigual show is as refreshing as a breath of fresh air.  At both their recent New York Fashion Week show & Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, Desigual showcased a collection that paid homage to women through compliments. The Spring-Summer 15 collection  called “Say Something Nice” is an exotic, psychedelic journey through time. where words come to life in the form of geometric shapes, daisies, hearts, galactics, brush strokes and colors. The  Desigual Spring/Summer 2015 collection looks like it jumped right out of a Frida Kahlo painting.

Desigual’s bright prints and joyous vibe sets the Spanish brand apart from other fashion brands and runway shows.   This year Desigual celebrates its 30th birthday.  Both the runway shows in Madrid and New York demonstrate that  Desigual designs fashions that are happy, fresh, fun and optimistic while continuing to be the alternative “casual” fashion brand, collection after collection.   That’s one reason this brand remains a fashion favorite.  Look for discounts on Desigual at fashion clubs like Ideeli and Ventee-Prive.
