Nordstrom Sale

The Advance Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Brings Down the Website

By  |

Even in a down economy, the words sale still have a strong appeal.   So it went yesterday when Nordstrom gave their charge card holders early access to their Anniversary sale (which isn’t open to the public until July 20th.)  Just how strong was demand for the sale? Well, the early bird shoppers overloaded the company’s website and it crashed.  Apparently Target.com and H&M are not the only retailers whose websites have flagged under consumer demand.   The good news for  the Nordstrom shoppers is that the site is back up and running.  Early access to the sale is open to Nordstorm charge card holders right now as an exclusive “fashion reward.”   I’ll be checking out the goodies myself later, as I signed up for a card to shop at the Rack last year.   Have any of you shopped the sale yet? Leave a comment with a report! We love social sale sharing on fashion!
