Balenciaga Pays Homage to Bernie Saunders with Menswear Collection

In a surprise move,  Balenciaga incorporated Bernie Saunders 2016 campaign logo into their Spring 2017 Menswear collection. Seems Balenciaga, to the delight of fashion lovers, is feeling the Bern!   Balenciaga Creative Director Demna Gvasalia showed blue jackets and t-shirt at the Balenciaga Paris runway show in a homage to the liberal Senator from Vermont.

How does the not exactly fashion conscious Bernie Saunders feel about this fashion tribute?  According to an interview with NY Magazine’s The Cut, Bernie Saunders has some very cheeky comments about the Balenciaga tribute. “Look, I know I use this phrase a lot, but this feels very “wealthiest one-tenth of one percent” to me,” said Senator Saunders.
