Physician’s Formula Makeup has new City Bronzers for Summer with shades of New York City and Paris.

Physicians Formula sent me their new City Bronzers to use and review. When I opened the box and saw the imprints of two of my favorite cities (New York and Paris) on the bronzer powders, I fell in love. The packagings is genius. But this isn’t a product with just great packaging, these bronzers deliver and they are organic.  For the past year, I’ve been on a gluten-free diet, and I’ve received so many benefits from it–including reduced arthritis pain and inflammation.  So, I was pleasantly surprised to discover these products are gluten-free, paraben free, fragrance free, oil free and Dermatologist approved.   That’s one of the things I loved about Physicians Formula, the products are gentle on the skin and the work.  Their bronzers have always delivered beautiful color, but the City Bronzers have additional benefits that make them unique, they actually have ingredients to protect your skin for pollution, toxins and the sun’s damaging rays.

So what makes these City Bronzers so unique? I’ve been wearing them for the last 3 weeks and I love the subtle highlights they add.  This is not cheap “Fake Bake” that you paint on to get an insta-tan.    Both products offer a subtle glow , the New York product is a lighter share and the Paris product delivers a deeper, peachy color.   Both products look very natural and provide protection from the sun via SPF 30.  The proprietary formula acts as a barrier against city smog and pollution.  I apply it right over my foundation with the little brush that comes in the package.  I can reapply it for evening if I want to add a bit more glow, or some of the gold powder from the building imprint looks great in the evening for a little sparkle on the cheekbones or under the eyes for accent.

Wearing the Paris bronzer for an evening out with a cream dress and pearly jewelry.

Each bronzer is broken into three layers of powder , the top is the gold overlay, next is light highlighting powder and the third and darkest layer is of course the bronzer.  You can decide how heavy or light you want to dip into each layer, or you can lightly run your brush over the top and pick up all three layers for extra definition.   I recently wore the Paris City Bronzer out to a charity event where everyone had to wear white.  The product gave me a beautiful and very natural glow.  Even better, the event was outside and I didn’t get a sunburn while standing outside for  a few hours mingling.

The New York City Bronzer is a lighter shade perfect for fair skin or daywear.  The City Bronzers come with their own brush and mirror in a convenient compact.

Look for the Physicians Formula City Bronzers on sale at Target , Walmart and Ulta.  The suggested retail price is an affordable $14.95, but I bought the City Bronzer at Target for $12.95.  Yes, readers, I had to go buy myself another Paris Bronzer because my mother actually took the product that Physicians Formula sent me for evaluation, and started using it herself for a little summer glow! That’s right ,  I had to go buy  myself a replacement because my Mom wanted to get a little color without going in the sun.  Because these products are so good , of course I had to forgive mom and just restock at the local Target.

If you have sensitive skin or are allergic to some of the fragrances and ingredients in many cosmetics, I recommend you also check out the new Physicians Formula BB organic foundation and  BB Mascara.  These products are gentle and even if you get them in your eye, your eyes won’t be irritated.  That’s a little tip from my Mom, because she stole those products too, just for that specific reason 🙂

Note: Disclosure, this a  sponsored post so this means I am compensated by the brand to let you know all about it.  However,  I’m writing  this because I have actually used this product and this it is a quality product that my readers would enjoy.  The opinions in this blog post are my own, based on my actual experience using  Physicians Formula make-up.
