Chic Recessionista on the Red Carpet: Kelly Osbourne in A|X Armani Exchange

I love it when a celebrity (or their stylist) chooses an affordable garment to wear on the Red Carpet.  It just reaffirms The Recessionista‘s manifesto that not all good looking fashion needs to be expensive.  My favorite member of the Fashion Police showed up at the Do Something Awards tonight in Los Angeles  in an A|X  Armani Exchange $138.00 ruffle maxi dress.  Since the Do Something Awards are all about making social change and doing good, this affordable dress suits the event’s theme. Why spend thousands of dollars on a good looking dress, when you could do something good for someone else with that money?

I’ve reviewed Armani Exchange before and visited their Los Angeles store.  They actually offer affordable styles, as well as customer service and fitting room assistance.  Service is becoming an increasingly rare thing in the world of continual economic cut-backs.
