Fall Beauty Essentials: Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin FakeOut Mascara, Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Bronzer SPF 30 and Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Glossy Stain by Physicians Formula brand.

This week I’ve been having some fun trying make-up from Physician’s Formula brand.  The brand sent me three different products:  Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Glossy StainOrganic Wear 100% Natural Origin FakeOut Mascara and the  Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Bronzer SPF 30.   The products each have their own unique benefits.  If you’ve tried Physician’s Formula beauty products then you know that this is a top-selling line with a wide array of products.  As the name suggests, the products are Dermatologist approved and Hypoallergenic.  They are also very  reasonably priced and available at Walgreens and Target.  Although the prices are reasonable, the products deliver good results.  It’s been proven time and time again that high-priced cosmetics don’t always deliver the best results.  I’m particularly impressed by the Mineral Wear Bronzer with SPF.

Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Bronzer SPF 30

In Fall, Bronzer is a great beauty essential to keep on hand to add a bit of color to your complexion (without the sun’s damaging rays.) The Physician’s Formula Bronzer is talc free, so it doesn’t “cake” on your face as some mineral make-up does.  I used the Bronzer on my skin after applying  a little bit of geranium oil (for a bit of moisture, your can also use Rose Hip Seed Oil.) The oil helps prevent any  drying sensation, however, I found the Physician’s Formula gives a smooth application and doesn’t dry the skin like some other mineral make-ups I have tried.    This Bronzer is different from other brands I have tried because it has a rather creamy consistency and most importantly, it looks natural.  Some mineral powder based Bronzers are very heavy-handed when applied and they look like “fake bake.”  This one doesn’t.   I’ll be using this product throughout the holiday season to add a nice healthy glow. The Bronzer is priced at $13.95, and it comes in a great case with a built-in mirror and brush.  The compact is a great size to put it in your purse for a quick touch-up.

Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Glossy Stain

Lip Stain is a another cosmetic that can boost your look with a strong infusion of color.  The Physicians Formula’s Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Lip Stain comes in a bright red package with a little black bow, suggesting the sexy boost the product gives.  It actually helps you achieve fuller sized “pouty lips” without any cosmetic procedures or injections.   I found that you have to use it sparingly so that you don’t add too much volume.  It’s best to experiment at home a few times with the desired application before heading out.  The product also has a vanilla scent, so again, you will want to experiment with the right amount because it’s very fragrant.

Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin FakeOut Mascara

The mascara is terrific.  It offers great coverage and best of all, it’s organic.  Physicians Formula Organic Wear  Natual Origin FakeOut Mascara has no fragrance , it is hypoallergenic, cruelty-free and Ophthalmologist approved.  The ingredients are an EcoBlend featuring OrganiSoy & Eco-Olive.  That’s important, because your eyes are so delicate, and you want to make sure that you are using a product that is gentle and non-irritating.  This one is and it’s also effective. That’s because the applicator brush is very unique. It’s made of 100% natural fibers.  The brush is oversized so when you apply the mascara, you will notice how big your lashes look right away.  The container is easy to hold because of its curved shape.  The applicator really allows you to highlight your eyes to great effect.  For $9.95, this is a great value and a product that is gentle to use on your eyes.  If you look at the online reviews, many users say this product did not make their eyes water.   The mascara retails for $9.95 but  I have seen it priced for less at some online retailers.

If  you haven’t checked out the Physicians Formula beauty products, look for them at your local Target store.  I found them at my local store on an “end of aisle” display, right next to the new Target Beauty Concierge display (look for this at 27 Target stores.) The Physicians Formula display at Target shows off the array of both skin and beauty products from Physicians Formula brand.  If your Target store has a Beauty Concierge, ask them for help and advice about Physicians Formula and how to best use the products.  The service is free and the Concierge seemed very knowledgeable to me.
