Recently I attended a showing of ASOS Fall fashion in Los Angeles.  This is a treat for someone in the US, as we don’t have any ASOS stores here. You have to find an ASOS pop-up store or travel abroad to see ASOS in person.  Of course, you can always order from ASOS.com, but if you’re like me, you might find the site is a hard to navigate. So by way of a little help, I’m posting here to try to point you in the right direction.  The ASOS website is full of some great evening tops (hint search evening tops) to see embellished tops, peplums, beaded collars and evening dresses.  Even Michelle Obama and celebrities like Blake Lively have recently been sighted wearing ASOS dresses.  Everyone loves a good deal.

For men, the ASOS holiday looks offers some great suit and tuxedo jackets with good looking shawl style lapels for under $275.00 US.  There are also some great accessories for women including bags, jewelry and lingerie.  Current ASOS collections for fall include:

  •  Girls World – The collection offers retro and mod influences make up this girly collection filled with oversized florals, colored outerwear, matchy skirt suits, puppy-tooth weaves, geometric and check prints abound.
  •    Nowhere Girl This offering includes  Androgynous styling of voluminous trousers, onesies, jumpers and leather separates. There are military shirt details mixed with tweed and tartan combines in olives, oxblood, black, white and air force blues.
  •    Baroque – This collection is all about sparkle. Search ASOS.com with the word Baroque to find ornate jewel tones in rich fabrics and textures, with exaggerated hip silhouettes in peplum and lantern shapes.  Opulent corset detailing, tapestry-inspired embroidery, luster embellishments in women’s styles.
  •    Woodlands – This collection is a bit more traditional offering a mellow color palette. With these offerings, ASOS introduces enchanted digital winter prints featuring flora and fauna along with suede and velvet accessories.  You’ll find faux fur jackets, patchwork knits, parkas, duster coats and chunky soft yarn sweaters are perfect for a modern, feminine country weekend wardrobe.

If you are willing to take the time to search the ASOS website, you can find some great deals especially in their Outlet section offering savings of up to 70% off.. The brand now offers Women’s Petites and Plus Sizes, so there is plenty to choose from. If you shop, let me know what you find.
