The Limited Stores Closing: This isn’t goodbye, still online

By  |

After closing their doors to customers at their mall and retail locations on Jan. 7, 2017, it seems that The Limited is making a bid to remind customers that they are still selling merchandise on their website with new specials daily.  According to The Limited, “This isn’t goodbye- the styles you love are still available online – We’re just a quick click away 24 hours a day.”

A tour of The Limited website shows that they are offering daily deals of $15.00 for a pencil skirt and $10.00 for a sleeveless blouse.  This competitive pricing puts The Limited is the ballpark with H&M and ZARA pricing, which is what they need to do to remain in the apparel retail marketplace.

I have placed a few orders on closeout items from The Limited website, and my orders are being delivered and UPS tracking numbers are being sent from the company with each order.  So if you’re a customer of The Limited, there’s still time to get some apparel from them.  Their long time future is perhaps a question mark but for now, they are still operating their eCommerce venture.

Postscript: As of  Jan 19, 2017, The Limited website is not working.  This site message is that they will be back soon.
