SHOPBOP Spring Trends for 2017 romantic fashions and lots of PINK

By  |

SHOPBOP is betting on Pink being hot for Spring 2017 fashion.  Their global Spring 2017 campaign, ‘Find Your Spring,’ features style stars, Suki Waterhouse and Immy Waterhouse, and model-of-the-moment, Alanna Arrington. The campaign, and fashions on SHOPBOP are heavy on pink hues and romance.  The campaign centers around female friendship and a modern take on femininity, as seen in six major spring trends – Pretty in Pink, Tailor Made, All-Day Lingerie, Modern Americana, New Romantics and SoCal Cool.

“We are extremely excited to be launching our global Spring 2017 campaign, ‘Find Your Spring’, with Suki Waterhouse, Immy Waterhouse and Alanna Arrington,” says SHOPBOP  Fashion Director, Caroline Maguire. “We feel we have chosen the perfect trio to represent the spirit of Spring in a very SHOPBOP way, with approachable style and a playful sensibility.”

SHOPBOP’s SPRING TRENDS

Pretty in Pink
For Spring, SHOPBOP is curating a variety of pink fashions from creamy blush, dusty rose, and fuchsia (hot pink) . The curated collection of haute pinks includes tops, dresses, skirts, handbags, shoes and even sunglasses.

Tailor Made

This curated collection of apparel and accessories features crisp classics like trench coats, cropped pants and tie tops.

All-Day Lingerie

Shopbop pairs slip dresses with silky pants, and boudoir-inspired robes over cut-offs. Look for some charming pajama style tops and kimono jackets, taking comfortable sleep wear to day wear.

Modern Americana

This collection features red, white, and blue, re-imagined, featuring the resurgence of Americana staples – gingham, polka dots, patriotic colors, stripes and tons of denim.

New Romantics

This is the most feminine of the curated collections that SHOPBOP has put together for Spring–its very girly with ruffles, high-neck blouses, Juliet sleeves, and dramatic florals on maxi dresses and blouses.  Many of the pieces remind me of the English Wedgewood prints that Topshop did last season. Featured designers here include Zimmerman, Anna Sui, TOME, alice + olivia, Robert Rodriguez and BB Dakota. This curated collection also features some beautiful accessories including vintage styled hair barrettes and chokers.

SoCal Cool

Get your California soul on with beachy,  bright, surf-inspired playful silhouettes. There are surf inspired prints and hits of neon.

I love the return to romantic florals and pink for spring, along with the bold strips and surfer prints. SHOPBOP always has interesting picks, even if you may not want to invest in their curated picks (they are more pricey than fast fashion) their collections give you great fashion ideas.
