People Stylewatch was on the scene last night to watch celebs turn out to support the NYC Preview Party of Zac Posen’s new Target line. Claire Danes (above) was wearing the Zac for Target Safety Pin Maxi dress that I covet.  Early reviews of the line make it sound promising.  Did any of you stay up all night to shop the NYC pop-up store? If so, what did you think? Yesterday was a tough day for fashionistas shopping for bargains.   First, the Posen Pop-up opened at 11:00 PM ET to the general public and stayed open all night, then the Outnet.com opened their $1.00 sale at 3:30 am PT/6:30 am.  Not to mention, US Taxes were due.
I mean, I’d like to stay up all night and shop, but who has time?  I don’t know about everyone else, but I got some bills to pay and I have to work! 🙂

About the Zac Target line, designer Posen said, “This has been my goal since the beginning of my company, which was to create a brand that worked on a diversity of women’s body types and diversity of races,” he enthused.  “To affect real women’s lives [is] really just a visceral thing about women looking beautiful, feeling good, having an adventure, and being creative themselves.”

I’m waiting for  Zac to hit the Target racks on April 25th.  Until then, I have to rely on People Stylewatch  for NY party updates. Check out some of the Pop-up shop Zac already on eBay.
